Monday inspiration

On mondays we will search for inspiration to keep us going all week! We are almost done with first communions and moving on to weddings and the always fun birthday parties.

Sweet tables are always inspiring and to add one to your event truly gives a special touch and wow effect to all your guests.

A rustic table, beautiful sweets, mixed jars, platters and the always special fabric banners were the elements used by Happy Party to make of this sweet table a success.

Busy time of year...

It is always great to get to work and celebrate at the same time milestones of family and friends. From birthdays, first communions, and baby showers, we have been busy at Bold and Fancy. One thing is for sure it is all a lot of fun.

We did a blue and yellow first communion for Mateo.

A pink and grey baby shower for Clara.

And a red and blue birthday party for Regina.

We are working hard and having a great time, developing all our ideas to have a best way to offer great choices to celebrate the very important ocas of our loved ones.

What a way to get ready for spring...a farm.

We had a great chance to spend the day in a farm! Beautiful animals, plants in bloom all are great reminders that spring is in it's way.

Everything in a farm can be inspiring! Look at the saddles, and We even found a little gift shop full of Easter bunnies and colors calling for a spring celebration.

Spring! I can't wait...

Your birthday a celebration of friendship.

My husband and I were honored by being invited to the 40th birthday of our friend Erika. Great friends, great food and her enthusiasm, made of this a great celebration. Being such an amazing lady, she sure made all her guests feel special by having a personalized card on each plate.

Every card meant something special to each guest. Every card had a meaning.

I think we were about 40 guests and she made everybody welcome and honored to be part of her celebration of friendship. My card was exactly what I needed to hear right now. Happy birthday to a great friend.

Card box, duck tape and action!

How surprising it is to see a child on stage! We went to the dollar store and got all we needed to make a fun little stage in our play room. The possibilities are endless when a child gets a mic, a spotlight and a song...

Silver duck tape, a garland made out of cut off construction paper stars and card boxes, made it all perfect for an afternoon of performances. Give it a try at home and enjoy!

One color a day ... and easy to make.

I love girls with colorful bows in their hair. But when it comes to my daughter who likes to get ready fast (and sometimes forgets to brush her hair), I have to make it simple, accessible and colorful. Here an easy and inexpensive idea for colorful bows.

Just trim the ribbon, each color with two lengths (One for the body of the bow and one for the center). Apply some hot glue in the center of the ribbon as you fold both sides of the long ribbon. Then apply some more glue to the hair barrette clip and stick the body of the bow that you just folded. Lastly wrap around the shorter ribbon, apply a dot of glue to attach the front and going through the center of the barrette apply a little more hot glue to close the center ribbon.

Hair ribbons can be expensive, and yet they are easy to make. I hope this gives my beautiful girl a little reason to comb her hair and a color to wear each day of the week!
