When you
are a busy mom, always in a hurry to start yours and everybody else's day, you
usually rush to grab if anything a cup of coffee. So, on your birthday there is
nothing better than waking up to the sweet smell of coffee, pastries and
flowers and to show up to the kitchen and see that as an act of magic
everything is ready and beautifully set for you to enjoy.
So with
this on mind, on my mother’s birthday my sister’s and I decided to surprise
her.
Very
casually we went out early to shop for flowers, pastries and fruit. Those are some
of my mother’s favorite things to enjoy in the morning.
As an
easy trick, just take out your best serving platters, those leveled trays work
fantastic and are sure to impress. Buy some flowers even some of those pre-made arrangements from your local grocery store. Clean and trim the flowers evenly so that all the heights match, this will give a very polished look.
Nicely slice some fruit and add it to your buffet trays, take out some
serving plates and silverware.
Sitting at
a table that is not missing anything that you might need, will always give a great impression and for
sure bring out a smile. Happy birthday mami!
