How surprising it is to see a child on stage! We went to the dollar store and got all we needed to make a fun little stage in our play room. The possibilities are endless when a child gets a mic, a spotlight and a song...
Silver duck tape, a garland made out of cut off construction paper stars and card boxes, made it all perfect for an afternoon of performances. Give it a try at home and enjoy!

One color a day ... and easy to make.
I love girls with colorful bows in their hair. But when it comes to my daughter who likes to get ready fast (and sometimes forgets to brush her hair), I have to make it simple, accessible and colorful. Here an easy and inexpensive idea for colorful bows.
Just trim the ribbon, each color with two lengths (One for the body of the bow and one for the center). Apply some hot glue in the center of the ribbon as you fold both sides of the long ribbon. Then apply some more glue to the hair barrette clip and stick the body of the bow that you just folded. Lastly wrap around the shorter ribbon, apply a dot of glue to attach the front and going through the center of the barrette apply a little more hot glue to close the center ribbon.
Hair ribbons can be expensive, and yet they are easy to make. I hope this gives my beautiful girl a little reason to comb her hair and a color to wear each day of the week!
